Diwali Fest 2022 returns to in-person festivities this year and features events in Surrey and Vancouver.
The Diwali Downtown Surrey event takes place at Surrey City Hall on October 16th from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. There will be live performances and activities for children.
On October 20th at 1:30 PM Mithali Banerjee Ruths will be giving a live author reading of her children’s book Archie Celebrates Diwali. The event will be delivered virtually through Zoom in collaboration with the Vancouver Public Library.
Diwali @ Vancouver Public Library will be hosted Friday, October 21st from 5:30 to 7:30 PM with the schedule to be announced soon.
The Diwali Downtown Vancouver event will be held at the Roundhouse Community Centre on Sunday, October 23rd from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. The family-friendly event features live performances, an interactive rangoli installation and activities for kids. A Diwali market and food trucks will also be on site.
