Mini Matsuri is a family friendly Japanese festival celebrating arts, culture and heritage. All proceeds from the event support the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre (NNMCC). The festival is being held at the Nikkei Centre in Burnaby from September 4 to 5, 2021.
Tickets are limited, time entry based and should be booked in advance. Adults are $5.00, children 5 years old and under are free and the family rate is $15.00. The event is free for NNMCC members (presentation of membership card required at entrance) however free tickets should still be booked in advance due to the limited number of hourly tickets available.
The festival will have local vendors and artisans, cultural performances, Japanese-style games, museum exhibits and a variety of food trucks.
