DanceHouse and 149 Arts Society, with support from the National Arts Centre (NAC) are presenting NEXT: New Dance in Development. Registration is required but tickets are free for this live stream presentation on December 15, 2021 at 4:00 PM PT.
NEXT showcases five emerging Canadian choreographers, romham pàdraig gallacher, Lance Lim, Shion Skye Carter, Ralph Escamillan and Zahra Shahab. They have been offered a two week residency that includes time in the Fei and Milton Wong Experimental Theatre at SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts. Residency time also includes access to technicians and technical gear on site.
At the end of the residency, the artists will gather for the live stream 75-minute contemporary dance presentation on December 15th.
