The H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is located at Vanier Park in Vancouver. The centre has live demonstrations, exhibits and shows about astronomy in the Planetarium Star Theatre. It is also situated next to the Gordon MacMillan Southam Observatory which features a half metre Cassegrain telescope.
Currently, the centre remains closed however a number of virtual programs, online resources and outdoor programs are available from June to September.
Upcoming events include a live stream Ask An Astronomer on July 16, 2020 and a Telescopes 101 program (registration required) at the observatory on July 15, 2020.
